MTS has all free content, all the time. Find out how YOU can help to keep it running. Tell me how...
Hello!
I come back with yet another world recreation. This time I present you with New Oasis Springs from base game The Sims 4, and - just as is the case with my other neighbourhoods - it is completely CC free and has been expanded to give premade Sims some basic backstories, memories, relations, etc. In addition to the primary hood, I've made downtown and shopping district versions if you wish to add New Oasis Springs as a subhood!
All 4 households present in Oasis Springs have been recreated (as close to their original selves as I could), but because this neighbourhood turned out to be quite a large one, 4 additional families have been added as well (2 made out of gallery sims, and 2 made out of Caliente Family ancestors found in Pleasantview, slightly adjusted). There is also a custom set of 30 townies, all of whom are gallery sims.
Alongside rebuilding every lot present in the original, I've also tried to recreate a decent chunk of some fake buildings present in the background you can't normally reach in TS4. Since they are often reused, I've customised them a little, or straight out repleaced them with lots from the Maxis gallery page.
The neighbourhood ID is N147 (D147 for the downtown and B147 for the shopping district). The camera mod is practically required (it will make your life MUCH easier, trust me ). It was built using Ultimate Collection, so it is likely required as well. The terrain it is built on was also made by me.
If you add New Oasis Springs as a subhood, names of the townies will unfortunately randomise. If you wish to give them the intended ones, I've included pictures with their names to make it a little easier.
There are 8 playable households, 52 sims in total (22 playables and 30 townies) and 51 lots.
Have fun playing Oasis Springs in The Sims 2! Thank you all!
