As my recent uploads suggest, I'm undertaking a Sherlock Holmes project. Hopefully, this is the lynchpin right here (and I assume it counts as a "Celebrity or Real Person", because it's Brett). Without further ado, I give you: Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes!

This great actor, who sadly passed away in 1995, played the fictional detective in the Granada television series filmed in the 1980s. To me, he was the definitive Sherlock Holmes. I hope this Sim does him and his memory justice.

About the Sim

I have included two versions of Sherlock here: An Adult version and a Young Adult version so you can have Sherlock at college, if you so desire. (Quiet at the back please ) The YA version looks almost identical to the Adult one, physically. It's very hard to create middle-aged Sims! Each is in a separate .rar file below. You can download both or just one, if you want. I have checked the files with Clean Installer and they are both hack- and unwanted content-free.

Age: Adult/Young Adult (See above)
Gender: Male
Compatibility: You need University for the Young Adult life stage to show up. If you don't have Uni, you can still play with the adult Sherlock.

Custom Content:

Eyes: "Sherlockian", a Maxis recolour, by me
Clothes: Everyday and Formal outfits, Maxis recolours both by me
Everything else: By Maxis

Notes:

1. The eyes and the Everyday outfit are included with the Sim, however I'm not sure if the Formal outfit is. If it isn't, follow the link above to download it. I'm not entirely sure how packaging Sims works :P
2. Pictures below show the Sim in Everyday clothing, apart from the one labelled as "Formal", which shows Sherlock in Besen's Top Hat (see below for link). If some of the pictures of Brett look familiar, yes they are the same ones as I put on my other uploads. They're good pictures! :D

Installation: Download either (or both) of the .rar files below. UnRAR it to anywhere and open the enclosed .sims2pack file to install.
Sharing: Please do not upload to the Exchange. If for some reason you want to include Sherlock in an upload here, MTS2, feel free but give me credit. Please do not upload to any other websites, as it's all too easy for custom content to go unaccredited these days

Suggestions: Sherlock smoked pipes (and cigarettes), often carried a cane and wore a top hat. You can find a top hat by besen here, but I can't find a cane or pipe as of yet. I'm sure you can find a cigarette if you want one for him, but Victorian gentlemen didn't walk around with fags in their mouths You can also download a painting of Resienbach Falls, to hang above Holmes' fireplace, here.
You can download some excellent Victorian Outfits from All About Style, in the Victorian section. There are lots of lovely dresses for Sim ladies. Male variety isn't so good, but it's a very good site for Victorian underwear and sleepwear.

Not for a Sherlockian house but nice anyway: I've created a few posters of Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. You can find one here and a set of four here. I've also made a poster of Brett as Freddie in My Fair Lady (1964); if you (or your female Sims ) want it you can find it here.
