These have been sitting on my computer for a little while now. I figured I'd better upload them. It was either that, or drive myself crazy fiddling with them...
There are two "styles" of mesh. One has boots and the other has shoes. But, really, since these are alpha meshes, you can make lots of different styles!
There are four miscellaneous styles that didn't fit into any of the other sets: there are two layered skirts with a translucent bottom layer; one crazy rainbow skirt with tights; and one variegated peach and pink skirt with sparkly heart trim. All of these skirts come with matching boots.
Then there are four skirts with fringe trim and a dropped hem at the back. These all have pockets and come with glittery footless tights. This style comes with shoes.
The third style is a plain black skirt that's gathered up in the front. The lining colour matches the striped bike shorts and boots.
The fourth style is a basic pull-on eyelet skirt. It comes in four colours (white, blue, red, and purple) and is paired with matching boots.
And the final style is covered in sparkly swirls. It's semi-translucent and comes with sparkly footless tights and shoes.
These skirts for girls are alpha meshes. Because of this, there are a few little glitchy things you might notice, like legs poking through the skirt during certain animations. I've tried to minimize these as much as possible.
Also note that these take up more space than regular skirts because of the higher face count and multiple textures. If, like me, you have an older computer, you might notice some blurring during gameplay, especially if a number of Sims are living in the same household (in order to get non-blurry pictures, I had to take pictures in a household with only two Sims... needless to say, taking pictures of all these girls took quite a while).
These skirts are base game compatible. You must download the meshes for these to work (the meshes are in separate zip files).
Polygon Counts:
alpha skirt with boots = 1306
alpha skirt with shoes = 1338
Additional Credits:
Thanks to melodie9, fanseelamb, Nouk, SimModa, LoveTheSims04, and DJ_Mur3 for the hairstyles.
Thanks also to CatOfEvilGenius and HystericalParoxysm for their help in troubleshooting these meshes.
And a HUGE thanks to CatOfEvilGenius and her great alpha mesh tutorial. I couldn't have completed this project without it!

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
