Second only to the revered Kitchen, the family Diningroom is an important place for gathering and sharing meals and stories of the day.

This Diningroom set is handsome enough to stand alone, but is intended to match my Farmhouse Kitchen Set. It too is inspired by the dark wood and warm earthy tones that decorated the farmhouse I grew up in.

Unfortunately I am not a mesher so I could not do the actual Diningroom table that my Grandpa built himself. So I did the next best thing ... I made 2 choices for the Dining table. The smaller round 4 person table, or the larger 6 person rectangular version. (The original table was a very large, heavy oval table that could seat 8)

Close up pictures of the rectangular table are below.

I have also included two choices in co-ordinating walls. With the same Taupe or Green base and wainscoting added (as was in the original diningroom)!

The set includes recolors of:
Rancher's Round Table (seasons)
The Cozinator - Dining Chair (seasons)
The Talking Table (basegame)
Echo's 3x4 area rug
*YggDrasil's Doublewide Curtains

*YggDrasil used to call Spiffy Sims home and that is where I obtained the curtain meshes. Spiffy's is no longer available but permissions were given to keep and redistribute meshes with our recolors, as long as credit was given to the mesh creator. They have been submitted to the Sims2 Graveyard but at last check they are not there yet. I do have them hosted HERE for now and the meshes are included below as well.

Additional Credits:
Thank You to Echo for the wonderful area rug mesh.

Thank You to YggDrasil for the beautiful curtain meshes and for allowing the meshes to remain in use.

Thank You to Numenor for pointing me to the Sims 2 Graveyard and the advice on how to deal with these orphan meshes.
