Err, you know, there's a reason why they can't: Because in real life, it's physically impossible for this to happen....

But maybe I'll look into trying to make a Cloning Lab that creates a baby-clone of the Sim where both of the parents are him.

However, you REALLY shouldn't adopt when you KNOW the adoption pool is empty. Get some children taken away from other families before you try to adopt, if you don't want randomly-generated muleass ugly ones. There's an important lesson in this somewhere.

And last but not least, this is not the requests forum. Neener, neener.

Well, if you want nasty, I can't dig in my nose for anything because I clean my nose regularly by flossing it with cord.

LaserArcSims, why don't you ask in the requests forum?

Well actually, I messed around looking at the "TeensGoneWild1b" mod package and found a reference in one of the BHAVs to "Can I get Pregnant?" and I changed the FALSE result to the same one for TRUE and now I do get the option for both Adults and Teens.

Though this does open up the option for ALL Sims, wether or not they are a part of the household or just visiting. If your Sim can WooHoo with them they can get them pregnant too...

Will test this out and see what happens, if it carries on through to birth...could open a whole new avenue for interesting situations...

So, er, my request has turned into a BETA TEST, heh, guess next time I'll play around first before making a request.

Let me make sure it doesn't do anything bad first. Give me an hour or so.

I think this would be useful. People have already done it by temporarily setting one sim as the other gender and then setting them back once they are pregnant. I myself before SimPE did a much more complicated version by taking clones of my male sims in CAS, setting one to female, making children, deleting the clones, made dummy parents, moved them in, killed them off, social worker took them away, male couple adopted them etc, but your method is FAR less complicated.

btw I see people complaining about adopted kids but mine have all been fairly attractive, I guess I'm just lucky? *shrug*

I'd love for a "try for a baby" option on my bed with same sex couples. I hope your patch gets done soon, that sounds like a super idea.

I dunno, it just seems silly for same-sex couples to get pregnant by eachother. I think you should be able to call a sperm donor on the phone . And if your gay couple is male... just get one of them ubducted.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth you'd probably be able to get a lot of free games. -- Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handy

You mean... you may have found a way for teens to get pregnant? No way....

Okay, the option is there, but there is another check somewhere else that I've got to find. With the Teens, when you try to do "Try for Baby" nothing happens (at least it doesn't cause any problems like popping them out of bed) so I'm trying to track down where this secondary check is.

With an Adult female/female couple tried it several (actually quite a lot of) times and they do do the "WooHoo" but there hasn't been any "Baby Music" so no pregnancy yet. Will keep looking for the check that obviously is not being triggered in this.

In any case, if a female teen does get pregnant, it will be an "invisible" pregnancy - there are no "pregnant" meshes for a teen - found that out by using SimPE to treat a Teen as an Adult.

Would be nice if someone at Maxis would release a code listing so we wouldn't have to figure this all out on our own. If they don't want to do the work to create the tools for us to do custom content/mods then they ought to be nice and give us the file types and definitions!

I've always wondered, does this mean they can get pregnant but not show the signs or does is simply mean giving birth won't work? Thanks

You must be REALLY lucky. For some reason the children my Sims always get are, well, my cats runaway when they see them! I never eat before trying an adoption !dodge

He's just being a jer--I mean grouch--like he does on all these forums. It's part of his schtick. Like derailing a thread on TSR by telling all the fat people how stupid and lazy they are... He must think he's cute; self-important is more like it.

Do you actually think, Pescado, that no one here knew same sex couples can't have biological babies in real life?

I would love to see teenage pregnancies and same sex "try for baby" option.
