Thank you for the thank yous! I rather like the idea of making a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Hi David,
Would you be interested in making a few Rossetti paintings for the Chelsea house? I have a few specific prints I would like to use to include the 2 commonly seen self-portraits. Let me know! I will resize them, place them on exquisite backdrops, make totally clear images for the specific size they need to be etc. I like the longer frames like the "Sent to My Room Without Dinner" one. I just figured this was right up your alley...so to speak. I also wanted to frame the poems that go with a few of his paintings...but of course...I'm a builder first. It's no rush. If not, it's no big deal.

BTW - Be very impressed by the short length of this post!

ADDED: Egad! I just noticed you have several Rossetti Collections. I must bookmark you now.

Thank you for the encouragement Steph. Yes, you will find the most popular self-portrait of Rossetti in Pets Badger format here and in Glamour Life poster format here. The poster format is one of my favourites, but would not be suitable as an authentic nineteenth century decoration.

There was a cessation of my uploading Rossetti's work because I tired of the bland in-game picture frames and wanted to mesh his key work such as Beata Beatrix as an illuminated painting in its original frame. Although he didn't craft them himself, Rossetti quite rightly viewed the frames as integral to his paintings, and as soon as he was a man of means he ensured that they were always to his exact specifiction. I completed the mesh but never did work on the illumination, although that should be fairly trivial. I also finished and activated some incomplete Maxis code that was intended for serious Sims to critique paintings. But then I was distracted onto other projects!

Before I return to Rossetti I need to complete a support object for the Dickens Mirror - the Lamp of Unearthly Visitation - then finish work on a project with Rainncandy. I would very much like to get back to Rossetti, but regretfully it cannot be in the immediate future.

I like "La Ghirlandata" very much and have a print of it here at home. As it turns out the aspect ratio is close enough that I could actually add it to this collection. I will send you a PM when I have done so.
