Haha, working on it. We're trying to replace my desktop computer, and that's what really makes me want to NOT work on this, because the computer sucks.

I dont agree. This project has yet to fade away into the last pages of the CFF. The fact that SO much time and work have been put into this just shows Rapsheba555's loyalty to the quality of the project. I do not belive that Rapsheba555 would put SO much time and energy into this project only to never share it.

This project still has life in it, I think of it every day, and it WILL be finished, one way or another. I didn't come this far to let every one down, it would go against what the whole project has been about.

The new computer has been assembled, however I neglected to bring my Sims 2 discs from Mom's house *headdesk*, so I can't run it just yet. D'oh.

Aha Raps, you're amazing The next thing you'll forget is to plug it in and we will have to wait a few weeks while you discover why your computer won't turn on i can't wait to see this continue!

@Vampy: They're backed up 6 ways to sunday, and they're on a hard drive that can plug into the desktop directly, and into other computers by USB. Currently, I have all the files needed to restore my game, I just have to -install- the game. As for the project files -not- in the downloads folder, I have those already.

So I was bored today, and decided to work on the peach statue. Here we'z gotz a pair of heels, from scratch. Only one foot will be this high-poly though, because the other will be up under the skirt, and so I'll drastically reduce the poly count to save. Basically, one shoe will be more visible than the other.



anyway, what do you think? I can post technical pics if you want. Also, note that the inside is NOT visible, I just meshed the shoe separately from the foot/leg so that it'll be easier to texture.

Looks good to me. They look a little pointy in places, but they will be so small that nobody will notice.

Realistically speaking, I think the heel goes in too far. It seems like it would break under pressure. Try moving it back a little? Back it might also be the angle at which I'm looking. Side pic please? Thanks!

okay, I mapped and textured the shoe, and did the crinoline. Naturally, the crinoline is very low-detail due to the fact that it'll be mostly hidden. I was really pleased with the fact that i did the entire shoe shape in about an hour. :P











Remember that since this is a statue, it's not actually gonna be in color, or if it is it'll be like, brass or something. I'm using a new method to texture that allows me to recolor things simply by painting the color I want over an area instead of hue-adjusting.
