I guess now that I have all these great houses, it is time to add a new subhood, lol.
I love your Sand Simoleon Point: I have it & have been saving it for the new 'hood I want to start, but since I can't be drawn away from my Pleasantview drama to actually start a new one, I think I will add it as a subhood there. I need the beaches.
Thanks for this whole excellent series.

What a great idea - they're so cute and I love playing small houses. Beautifully done, Phae.

Thanks HP, it makes me feel special when moderators comment.

Calisims? In my game Sand Simolean is also a sub'hood of Pleasantview, I had a time when I had so many different neighborhoods, but I hated that they weren't actually connected. The sub'hood idea is a great concept and I'm glad Maxis included it.

Thanks for commenting everyone! It really brightens my day! (And today its dreary, rainy and cold, so it could really use a bit of brighting!)

It's cold and dreary here too (though not raining... ...yet), so having some nice colourful houses to add to my game is great. They'll probably end up scattered all over the place, as needed by any Sims who haven't won the lottery yet.

I'm currently playing Pleasantview with Bluewater, DT, a secondary DT subhood & Sim State attached. There are so many families, it takes forever to get through my rotation. So I've been resisting the idea of adding another subhood there. And, I've been having fantasies about starting a clean new 'hood with just one Sim as a founder, to grow a community organically.
But the Pleasantview drama lures me in every time I load the game, and since they really do need a better beach area than Bluewater, adding Sand Simoleon Point is a very good idea.

I'm lovin' this series of homes; works well with the sub hoods, and goes pefectly with plasticboxes' series of homes...you know, from the subs to city??
Well, all of this blathering is to say that this has helped me to build believeable neighborhoods...,and I simply adore small, well made homes like yours.
Thank you so much.

Yay! So many houses!!! I started a new neighborhood, and it seems I can't work up enough creativity to build starter homes that are both functional and attractive, especially for as many sims as I've created recently, and I'm overjoyed that they all come with no custom content. Thank you so much for abundantly answering my prawers!

As someone who suffered from Katrina, I've seen these cottages in person, some are on the next street infact, and I must say, your dead on or at least, close.

Luckily, I got to stay in my house, but unfortunately some didn't.

Haha, Some people had a meth lab in one and it blew up! Crazy times, these are.
