Oh my! Yes this is lovely - and since oak, which was a mainstay of furniture making for those centuries starts out quite light, and golden, (only the passing of centuries and the thousands of polishings make it the dark rich color we think of when we imagine a medieval home --(sort of like all the paint has worn off the Greek and Roman stautes so we tend to think they started out white ...;>) that I find this suite of furniture very realistic. Did you know that pastel colors were used very frequently -- even men wore pink and light yellow? Thanks for the newest additions to my game.

I don't know about the originals, but there is a new set at this link in the bedroom furnishings that has a similar look.

These are beautifully done. I usually use the dark colors, but these look so good I think I'll find a place for them.
