This is marvelous I couldn't wait to fire up Sims2 again after downloading the casino stuff, even if it is a 20 minute load time. (time to do a purge obvsly)

Holy Amazing! I've been waiting for this since I saw the project applications thread way back last year. I thought it had died. I downloaded all of it, thanks SO much!

I love this set and have been playing it for a few weeks. But all of a sudden the craps table just keeps spawning endless NPCs...I had to remove it before the 100 or so NPCs it spawned crashed my game! Has anyone else had this issue?

Thank you for reporting this Prudensch, we'll check the issue (but please bear in mind that many of us are on the beach or swimming in those cool pools on cruise ships, drinking too alchoolic drinks ... an answer may take some day ).
In the meanwhile, please check if you have added some new mod or hack which could have affected the crap table functions or - better - try it after you will have moved temporarily on the desktop all the other downloads.

Prudensch, can you confirm that there's plenty of space around the table for the NPC to get to their post?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, there is plenty of room. It was working perfectly at least until a couple of days ago, and according to my memory I have not added anything to my game in that time except for some clothing. I'll move it though tonight (yeah 1.30 am here...I'll probably be playing at 2 am, not unusually!) and see if that resolves the issue.

Edit: Well I put the table in an outdoor area with a lot of space around it and the problem remained. I also noticed that I had 'hire croupier' as an option when I clicked on the table, alongside 'Roll' 'Watch' 'Bet $5' etc. I didn't notice that originally. (fyi this lot is on my University campus, it's not an owned community lot.) There was also a jump bug when the NPCs appeared and they would immediately jump back from the table. I turned on the testing cheats and got continuous Object Errors relating to the spawned NPcs. I've attached the logfile for the first stacktrace error. (as well as a pic of the table) When I clicked reset the NPCs stopped spawning (I had no croupiers at all instead of 100!) but the table was not useable, for example my Sim would just stand next to it motionless whatever option I clicked and would only move again when I cancelled the interaction. All other Spawned NPCs on the lot seemed to be fine (restaurant host, barpersons etc)


Lolz it's the middle of winter here...envious does not even begin to describe it!
I have no new hacks (did run the hack conflict detection utility and it came up with nothing, although I know it's not foolproof) and I don't think I have any new objects although something may have slipped my memory. I'll remove all my downloads tmrw and test it then. Thanks.

Edit 2: Tested the craps table on its own on the same University lot with absolutely no other custom content in my game. No dice (if you'll excuse the pun ) It was still spawning NPCs like they were going out of fashion, still has the 'hire croupier' option when I click on the table.

Prudensch, your Croupier can't find her croupier stick. Make sure you've still got "highrollers-CroupierStick-mesh.package" in your downloads directory. It's included in the CrapsTable-Mesh rar file.

Thanks so much to everyone involved in making this set I've been waiting for casino objects for a long time, hoping EA would release some like they did for TS1.

The only thing I'm stuck on is how to get my Sim to actually bet & play on the Craps table. She can "Roll", but when she tries to place a bet, everyone just stands there doing nothing. It seems like the NPCs can only watch the table, which is fine since they don't need to be earning money that would better serve my Sim :p

As a side note, I also noticed that there is no Fun gain when Sims roll at the craps table, or pull slots. That may or may not be intentional, but it's something I noticed.

Just one leedle problem, I'm unable to access the waitress clothing meshes, can anybody help an old lady?
OOps now there's one more problem. I opened and installed all the stuff in a folder inside another larger folder in my dls. Everything shows up in the game catalog except the Texas holdem chairs. I've checked my folder and they're there-did I miss something?

I also had trouble finding those at first They're actually located in the Recliner/Lounge Chair section.

And they don't use the ones with the Poker Chip backs as the picture. Found 'em Thanks

Oh! this is new! I am sorry: actually the site is unavailable. I checked this site and this site too, but no trace of 2-f0r-u files/news. As creator policy did not allow uploading the mesh, we cannot do anything at the moment: pls keep on trying - we will update news as soon as available.

?? I don't understand. Do you mean you can not find the poker chip backed chairs? They are a recolor of the mesh I created. They should appear in the dining chairs section since I cloned a dining chair to make them.
