Default House Plans
Im looking through house plans andi found some great ones but i cant convert
the width and length (10x7) into sim squares can someone help

Or if you cant seem to get your head around that, then when u are building work in relation to doors, windows, garages and other building objects. This will help you conceptualise and build quicker in the long run.
I read all the comments you leave, even if they are made a year later, thank you all:)

May also pay attention to the smallest room's ratio as well as the whole building's ratio.

There should be a few more very old threads discussing about this in this forum, too. May try to search them if you feel like to read more.

Hey.. Without all the technical jargon, you can try this - Since these houses are for sims and sim furniture, what I do is use a standard SIM single bed as a yard stick.. It equates to about 7 sim feet and occupies 3 squares. Use that as your in-game yardstick. Toilets will need 2 squares.

You should see my floors when I'm allocating wallspace - I got beds all over da place! lol

Lol porkypine , i do the same thing, beds and toilets all over the place till i am pleased with the result. Follow the furniture plan that is .Oh and the windows, i count the windows also.
