Oh my gosh! This is great, this deserves to be featured! I will test later, and tell you how it is.

It's rare that I'm ever on here anymore, but I'm gonna try. And to make more uploads too, possibly.

Heh. Is it cloned from a terlet? It's fairly trivial to tweak the hygiene thing, except that I'd have no idea how to send it to you. And don't say email, you can't email binaries, they come out mangled.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

Isn't the motives numbers stated in the Bcons. If you find anything that says " motives Clear all" followed by any code line that says "increase such number per hour, stop at xxx" you can make it really increase by replacing negative numbers for positive numbers directly in the constants stated in BCON. Doesn't the toilet have one? Must have cause to pee you have to increase a number and stop in another. If the baby plays with the toilet and decrease hygiene, it must follow the same rule.

That's so cute! Although it's slightly disturbing to think that was cloned from the toilet! :P

Yeah... alright, you can PM me to request a house I suppose... Might take a while though as forewarning...

xptl: there is no BCON in the file for the play with interaction. its in the objects package. when i extract it though, and change the values, and then have the sink read them, the game just creates a bunch of error logs and yells at me. I know the problem (I'm forgetting to do something very important) just not how to fix it yet (can't seem to figure out what i'm forgetting). My internet's been faulty, so I've been having to do most of this from memory...only the only work I've had with SimAntics is what I did in the tutorials, and its so different from the little programming I had before. I'll figure it out soon though and get the new version up.

Yo could you pretty please make this sink so the hygiene doesn't go down?
then it would be more realistic.
But don't get me wrong this sink thingy is ADORABLE

Thanx

Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Humm! I didn't check anything for lack of time. I don't have any toddler in my game in the moment. I hope you find the solution. If I have time I'm also going to try to take a look. If eventually it occurs me something, you'll be informed too.
Anyway the object is nice. Thanks for your work.

Hi Morgan! Took a look in your object and have some teories if you are interested.
The trouble is that I cannot test and cannot assemble a package cause I'm having some problems with SimPe.
Well, in your bhav "Wash Hands" you are pulling the semi 0x200E which belongs to the toilet, consequently will drop hygiene.
Doing something : if instead of pulling the semi bhav, if you extract it and add to your package in the group 0xFFFFFFFF, I think you will have a local bhav that you can modify at your taste.
The semi 0x200E has BCON for hygiene and of course has negative numbers. You don't need to use a BCON from a global, you can redirect the codes so that it points to whatever other BCON you have in your package and simply add another item where you can place the respective values.
I suppose you will understand what I mean. If not, please feel free to contact me via PM (in the case of any interest).

Thats what I have in the broken package, currently (this one didn't lock up the system, which is why I published this version). the extracted BHAV still wants to reference the global BCON _and_ the local one (which is causing errors in the game). I'm not going to be able to have a look at the package again until Friday, but if my notes work like they're supposed to it should all be sorted out by the beginning of next week.

bhav editing is not needed for this. but it is a nice mesh, and a good idea!

Any requests, questions or queries just send them too [email protected]

Me and a friend tested yesterday a version with extracted bhav for your object.
You don't need to use constants. You only use constants if you are intended to make several calculations. As it is a single object you can use Literals instead. It worked feilfree. Another issue was that when playing with a toilet (or your sink), the toddler splash puddles around. Puddles have a much higher advertising than the "play with toilets" and will cause a lot to mop up or the toddler will be attracted ininterruptely to the puddles. Made a modification to avoid the puddle and the sink is no more so addictive. Don't worry. The work is not going to be posted anywhere, cause either me or my friends are any longer interested on posting. This is just feedback.

if you still have it, post it! Or I'll stick it on this thread with all available credits (and bowing and scraping and offerings due to someone that saved me a headache this weekend ) Like I said, it will be at least monday before I can post it, and thats being optomistic because between the series of tests I have this week, and work, I have about 4 minutes to work on this if I decide not to study for management.

AFter this, I'e decided I'm going back to simple recolors and meshes...I knew there was a reason I went into economics instead of programming, I just needed a reminder.

Please don't. The only reason I came here to bore you is that I consider that you're pretty good in what you're doing. In fact I was intended to stick a request directly on your forehead. The puddles thing gave me an idea of a toddler bathTub and I'm not a mesh-maker so it is out of my skills. If I could help you, I'm glad about.
There was something said at Disney's once:
"It is better business for us to gather a group of talented designers or painters and teach them programming, than gather a bunch of programmers and try to teach them Talent"

This is what I mean too. Thanks.
