an excellent idea, i too was dissapointed with only 3 careers, glad people are making some more!

You select a sim and click on the newspaper - 'Find pet job for...'. Then select your pets name from the list. The three careers that come wiht the game are: Service, Showbiz and Security.

Watermelons: Read a newspaper or use a computer (with a sim) and select Find pet job for... and select the pet pet you want to have a job

When my sims try to find a pet job for them it'll only find a job for the sim, not the pet

I have hacks, and only one custom career called "Realestate Career" where they sell houses. It was made recently so it should be compatible with pets

Try removing the hacks. What are they? I think theres a compatibility list on S2C.

Watermelons make sure your not using a non maxis computer cause the older ones don't show up the menu option find pet jod for...
I found that out the other day

All of my hacks are up to date with EP4 I can assure you. Because I deleted them then reinstalled everything compatible with pets.

tiababy87: the find a pet job feature used to work, and I still have the same computer that I've always had

Is your pet an elder? I don't have the guide so I can't be sure, but I'm assuming that elder pets (much like elder sims) can't get jobs...
Because the sims have teen/elder jobs, but pets don't have teens... Hmmm...

Apparently,cats get paid more than dogs because they are harder to train.
This was on a chat on sims2 official site so I am sure it's true.
By the way,an outstanding pets career made by superfly.Great job !

When a pet in this career gets a promotion, will something be unlocked for the pets CAS, or a new collar be unlocked?
