what expansion pack do you need. when i install it...it comes up with "this content requires expansion pack data that is not installed"?

Sorry about that. That happens alot. You might try downloading the Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer. You can find it under the Useful Info on the downloads page. Hope this helps you.
