New Mesh Mounted Butterflies in a Frame

Wow, that's really beautifully done. They look so real! It's this level of perfect attention to detail I appreciate a lot in my game - and so low poly! I have to have this! *downloads* Thank you.

I'm glad you like it. The reason the poly count is so low is because the butterflies sit on a concertina shaped mesh of 4 faces which is then shaped by the alpha channel. I'm hoping people will think to use the same mesh for other things like a treasure map or whatever people can of.

Oh! How delightfully clever! I don't think I ever would have thought to do it that way, but as one mesher to another... that's freakin' sweet, and such a cool, graceful way of accomplishing it. It bears saying again: Very well done!

I really want something like this in real life but for now I keep endlessly spoiling my sims by giving them everything I can't have. This is a gorgeous mesh, thank you for posting it.

Looks great.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.
