Does this mean that sprinkling takes 25% of the game time that it used to take?

Thanks, I'll try this out! I have noticed a significant lag when those buggers are on so I'm quite thankful.

Is there any conflict with Numenor's mod making the water stream invisible on the sprinklers?

I don't know this mod made by Numenor, but i'm guessing that it was made for the same purpose of eliminating/reducing the annoying lag. So maybe you don't necessarily need both. Anyway, I highly doubt that there is any conflict between mine and his. Perhaps if you can give me the link to his mod, i'll be able to give you a definitive answer.

It sounds like it has the same basic intent....to reduce strain on graphics cards. Here's the link: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=222748 His mod takes the water stream away totally.

Thank YOU LOL I remember seeing this and logged in just to download it after the hellacious lag on one of my larger lots.

Neat. I hope this can help solve my problem when the sprinklers start to water. Sure slow my PC speed.
Thanks.

Does this hack work with FreeTime? I would assume it does, but I'd like to make sure before I put it back. I'm already missing this hack, because my game all but freezes when all the sprinklers go off at once.

Thanks for making such a useful hack!

Yep, had same problem here so thanks for this. I also have the same problem with orchard trees for some reason, though they don't look at all that animated.
