Those rock! So many of the original Maxis clothes were ugly. The leopard print looks AMAZING. I have just the sim to wear it too! XD

This has happened to me a couple of times before. It generally means that the download process itself was bad. Re-download it and it should be fine.

Phaenoh, you're quickly becoming a favorite of mine! ^_^ I think maybe the replacements are a little *too* red, but I'll see how it looks in-game. The leopard-print is wonderful! These really were the UGLIEST outfits I'd ever seen. I figured they were for those who wanted to play a tacky prostitute or something... *shrugs* Much better now! ^_~
Next, you should fix some of those boring tank tops or children's tops.

I'd love to see you screw around with the other Maxis disasters in those clothing bins. I really hate the male separates, for example, because they're all like nothing I've ever seen any adult or teen guy wear outside of when his mother dressed him in 1979

I was hoping I'd stir up conversation about what to do next! I'd been looking through bodyshop and couldn't really find anything else offhand that was just blatantly ugly. Sounds like I should take a look at the separates side of the clothing. However, everything I replace is still going to have that 'Maxis' feel too it, I personally don't want my game to get to realistic (that why you will never see my models in custom hair). I'll see what I can do.

annachibi, they were actually a darker red the first time I did them, but I didn't like them like that. They are kind of bright, but if you are going to wear a red dress, you are wearing a RED dress. (And yeah, I personally refer to these as Porno-Dresses, but I didn't want to put that in the title!)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! It really makes me smile!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've never, ever used a single one of those outfits in my game, and I really think I'll get some wear out of them now.

Now if only someone would replace all those sandals with proper shoes... Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink.

These are great, Phaenoh, once again! I'll use these a lot more now. The lack of detail and low neckline always bothered me. Although the red is a little bright, I still like them. Thanks!!

Seems like everyone is mentioning that the red is too red, I think I will redo them to tone it down some. No point in having a default replacement that you STILL don't use...

EDIT: I fixed them. Re-download plz?

You're the best, Phaenoh!! Yes, this red is better, thanks. ^_^ Can't wait to see what you have for us next!

Yay! Thank you for updating them! I really wanted to use the fixes, but the red was just a bit too much, now they are all perfect.

And I'm looking forward to your sandal/shoe fixes, those are sorely needed!

EDIT:
If you're looking for more ideas, I just thought of one: the tracksuits! Especially the green and pink ones, they could definitely use some good default replacements.

Don't hold your breath on that one, that requires combining meshes, and I haven't had a great success rate with that yet.

I only want to mess with things to make them look like what Maxis had intended, so technically, I think those ones are fine. Make sure you go get my Athleticwear Mod so you have more options in that category though!

You rock! Thanks a bunch. Love what you've done with the Leopard print one. If I ever used the word fugly, I would have used it for that, but you've actually made it cool. It's amazing that such simple changes can make such a huge difference.

I always hated those outfits, and thought they were tacky and badly designed. Now three of my sims are wearing them. Thanks so much for this handy download!

You definitely made a hot dress out of the leopard thing! I really appreciate all your replacement series, that will hopefully make my NPCs look way better!

THANK YOU!! I've always thought these outfits were some of the worst ones in the game, but you've made them bearable and wearable . You rock!
