Default Wall Problem
I have already posted this but I thought I would do it again because I didn't get much responce last time.

Okay... I am making the Imperial Hotel and I am on the first story of the building and while I am building the wall all of a sudden it won't let me build anymore walls. I click and it looks like it is going to build something because the puff of smoke comes up but when I move it nothing shows up. What is Wrong? Help Please!

Thanks,
Leminnes

PS. I would like to thank sapoman for his help...

PSS. This is a community lot... I can't run out of money!

How close to the edge of the lot are you? Also did you use any cheats or codes?

Leminnes,

how many wall segments are already on the lot? There is a limit. Check out this post: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=10907

Well Leminnes, I don't think too many people are concerned about hacking the max number of walls as it's hard enough for some of us to run small lots as it is. More walls = slower game! I myself could'nt hack my way out of a paper bag either way, so you're best bet would be asking for such a mod in the modding wishlist forum. I don't know if this idea would help, but you may be experiencing a glitch. Try saving the lot in it's current state and packaging it to a file, then reinstall your game and import your lot. Just make sure to backup everything you would like to save just in case!

You are probably too close to the lot's edge. That's all I can say. Good luck!
