First skin? Wow, wonderful job! I would like to say that I am a huge fan of Garbage-Shirley Manson is a goddess! LoL! And I loved your creative use of the songs titles!

If you are open to constructive criticizim, I would first off like to say that the facial structure is very good, but to get it a bit more dead-on, you may want to try up-turning her nose just a tad, and making her eyes just one click smaller. Also, try using a less-bright color green eyes. And you structured the eyebrows beautifuly, but for extra realizim, the red eyebrows from the set at peggy sims look just like Shirley's. The result would look like this:
(I also added a darker lipstick-I love crimson)


But all in all, wonderful job, and I have a nice new sim for my neighborhood that just happens to look like my favorite celebrity!

Well I'm not a Garbage or Shirley Manson fan, but Crazy_Borg you did a really nice job on this and BlackKat13 you made it look exactly like her, that's amazing!

Ok, I continue work on Shirley, don't worry.

Yes, version 2.0 will be a version with special clothes.
But this could take a while, cause I am not good at doing clothes.
Also I can't do bump map on clothes, because I can't use SimPE, because I won't install microsoft .net again on my pc!!!

Lipstick:
Yeah, good idea.
Now I am using the crimson lipstick, too.
Really fits better to her hair.

Nose:
I turned up the tip of the nose a bit. Had this idea before, but I first had to tweak around the nose (made her nostrils smaller) on the face texture. Otherwise she would have looked like Miss piggy...
Done now.

Eyes:
Made the eyes one click smaller.
Also moved them a little higher.
Look at the comparison photos showing the result.
Also Changed the area under her eyes on the face texture a little bit.

Eye color:
I don't like the use of other people's custom stuff.
I'm doing my own stunts!
I'll think the eye color on your picture isn't correct. It's too bright.
So I created custom eyes by using her original eyes from one of the pictures I have.

Eye browns:
Again: I don't use other people's custom stuff.
So I only moved them a little closer to the eyes.
And I tear down the outer edges a bit.

My pictures from the body shop are a little bit darker than ingame.
And the eyelashes are looking more detailed on your picture, why?
Custom content? Sims 2 EP?
I don't know. Blame it on my S3 Deltachrome! :D

I don't think it would be right to post my version-I was just giving a few pointers and an example-I know Shirly like tha back of my own hand, as I have been obsessed with her since she was in the band Angelfish. However, my version would be simple to recreate-I gave instructions for the facial structure changes-and the lipstick is just by Maxis, the eyebrows are by peggy sims, and the eyes are sugar and cafines default replacements-it was just a few minor tweaks. If you would like to recreate it, you are welcome to.
And Crazy_Borg the split image was a good comparson for the new version-I've never seen anyone do that before! Great idea! And i respect you for not wanting to use other creators content-I am a bit self concious of sharing my content myself, the only time I did was my self sim-I created her skintone (That had my own real life tattoo on it, as a mater of fact) and her bikini.

News about the clothes:
I'm making progress.
Found build-in clothes that have got a bumpmap file, so I am not forced to use the SimPE trick for creating one.
I just started, so don't expect clothes too soon.

I looked through some of garbage's videos for ideas.
Additionally to the special (not related to the video) clothes I'll have to use bumpmaps for, I will eventually create the clothes from "I think I'm paranoid", "The world is not enough" and "Cherry Lips (go baby go)".

I just have to do a little tweaking here and there.
Sorry, the Logo isn't exactly the same, because I had no good photo of it and had to create it myself. By wrapping the cover picture of the Garbage version 2.0 CD around a globe in a 3D software...
Because of the half-transparent style of the clothes I also modified the adult female skin by adding "anatomical details" to her chest area...you know what I mean.
I don't post a photo of *that* here because then this thread would go to the "adults only" section...
