I originally downloaded the Factory career but I do not have the EP. Are there any updates that were done to the Factory career other than making it EP ready that would require me to re-download?

No, no changes made to the factory career, so you dont have to redownload.

Maybe... could you make a game maker career? It would be nice, but pay would be low. I tried to make a career, but my The Sims 2 crashed. 8(

I don't have the EP, but I do have the original architect career, do I need to remove it, or does this overwrite the old one?

I concur... without a readme, I'm at a bit of a loss here. Can anyone tell us what we need to do to use these? SavedSims just like other items or is it different?

put it in my documents/ea games/the sims 2/downloads folder.

You should remove it, this file name is different from the original one.

I have a question. My sim is in the Architect career and is on level 7. He just got the chance card where he was asked to choose between the walnut wood and the hybrid maple/walnut wood. The customers supposedly (I thought) awarded him $1k. When I looked at the family finances they have over $1 mil!!! The award that he got was $1 mil! Is this right or is there an error? lol He has enough money to spread around to the whole family! lol
