HilaryDuffissooohot:
Yes, it's EP-ready, as stated in the Thread title.

Ailias:
The package is small because it doesn't contain any textures: all the textures are borrowed from the original 27" TV.

One slight thing I noticed . I placed both portables on counters next to each other in sim me's kitchen to compare them , but when I tried to delete the bigger one from the counter ( the little one is much more suited to a kitchen ) it wouldn't delete and I had to use moveobjects to delete it . No biggy really and it's hardly worth editing the object for it , but I just thought you should know . I'd also say the little one is more like a 6 to 8 inch tv than a 14 inch too because it's only the same size as the food processor Great objects though , and I especially like the little one :D

29-Mar-05: Fixed a BUG that prevented the sims to watch TV while lying on the bed.
Please re-download the packages (they will overwrite the previous ones).

Yes, there's a strange thing going on... I've found that when you want to delete one of these portables, you can't simply pick them up and hit DEL: you have to place them on the ground and then pick them up again; only doing this, they become "deleteable"... Odd!!!
:argh:

Thank you all for the positive feedback! Please go on testing: these objects are in Beta stage because bugs and glitches are always around the corner
For instance (but blame Maxis for this, not me...), there is a real bad glitch in the animation when the sims watch TV from the toilet (yes, they can! ).
But it seems to me, reading your comments, that the overall functionality of the TV is good, after all...

OMG, now I have to put a TV in all my bathrooms. I gotta see this!

I tried it and it works perfectly well.
I really like, that I even can put the tv on the floor and/or under the stairs and my sims can watch tv though.
Usually they have their fun by playing, but sometimes I need a tv (young parents, deep red) and this one is so "discreet".
(Didn't know that they can watch tv from the toiletts - think I won't try, if there is "a real bad glitch")

Tried today to set it on an endtable, that stood in front of one of Boblishman's radiators. (using "moveObjects on") I couldn't manage, the tv insisted to place itself to the wall, where pictures are placed usually. By trying around I discovered, that I could fix the tv everywhere, where an other object was fixed already. It sat on the vanity, where you usually can't put anything on and even fixed itself to a ceiling lamp, screen showing down to the floor, looked like a surveying camera, . . .
(if you want to have it on the table, no problem though: you have to put the tv there first and then move the table together with the tv to the wall)

Yes, if I remember well, I set the TV to be placed on the surfaces, but with the moveobjects on it can be placed literally everywhere, including in sims' hands and on their heads (ROFL! ).
