Hi all,

I successfully created some stainless / shiny walls and intended to apply the same effect to floors. only while the walls are showing up fine all I can see with the floors is that they appear black ingame. :bricks:

First thing I checked was if I updated the imported MATD. and then I fiddled with the MATD for several hours and my only result was that no matter what I deleted / changed the floor in question kept showing up black ingame. :smash:

Now I think its time to ask for help! I really want these floors to work as I intend to use both the silver wall & floor on my next lot *sigh*

as I am a bit reluctant to upload something thats definately NOT working I'd rather PM or email the respective file(s) to those offering to help me out...

p.s.: find attched a set preview of the walls, an ingame pic of the silver wall only and the silver texture - without the effect applied...

Wow, cool.

When I read Rgiles' transparent tile thread, he said had once made some mirror tiles but dislikes the effect. So, you may ask him about that.

Wow these are really cool! Can you properly install the walls wit ought any side effects to other things Ohh and are the walls the default wall or a wall paper?

sorry for only coming back to u now. but I was off all day long...
I am glad u like them!
they are wallpapers actually and nope I couldn't find any side effects. I had to tweak the MATD in order to get the effect. as u can see on the third pic the texture is rather dull...

I have been wanting to be able to make shiny floor tiles but failed.
I want to know how you (chrissy) made it possible to have shiny floors?
