Now my poor sims can build skill without having to buy gym stuff, a tv or a pool!!!! Most of them have tvs but it's kinda annoying coz then none of my other sims can watch the tv... thanx!!!!!!!

Thank you so much!

I'm assuming this means my sims can now gain body skills/get fit while playing DDR, which is something I've been hoping for!

Nice work yet again, Syberspunk.

You've officially earned yourself your own subfolder.

Is it possible to have a version without the skill meter showing?

Default Running W/O NL (EP2) but with Uni (EP1)
It worked fine in some houses with characters that were regular dancers.

In a new house (or not so new, but still relatively unplayed) the sims that had done little or no dancing (the bookish sims) tended to jump out of any Dance Solo command on the cheapest stereo.

I tried this stereo on a different table and also outside the smallish living room.

So I've removed this until I get NL (when I get the time to upgrade).

Dancing = fitness : this is so obvious I'm amazed it wasn't part of the game from the start! Thank you for this great hack - I can't wait to try it!

i love this mod, but before i try it out i'd like to know if this could
conflict with Monique's slower hygiene decay hack?

If you have an error log, please zip and attach it. I can try and take a look at the log and see if there is a way for me to fix it so that it will work with Uni for you.

Long answer:

I would imagine that it shouldn't conflict. Without taking a look at Monique's hack, which I do not use personally, I can't think why they should conflict. If anything, if her hack is on a more global level, then it will probably override anything that I've done regarding hygiene.

The only conflicts I would guess might occur should theoretically be harmless. At best, her hack will work as advertised, at worst her hack will have no effect on the hygiene decay rate of sims using this mod. The only thing I did was have a setting for hygiene decay while dancing and body skill building. I didn't make any huge global changes to hygiene decay in general; my mod should only be related to dancing.

Short answer:

I'm not sure, but my guess is they probably won't conflict and that it they are "safe" to use together.

Please report back if you do run into any major problems, like jump bugs and the like. And if you do, please include your error log(s) in your post.

Thanks.
