I never thought of your horizontal easel can be painted fully in canvas.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Thank you! This will be helpful when I want my Sims to paint landscapes
[ their garden ;-)) ], for example.

This is an independant easel, and as far as 'distortion' goes, it will stretch the paintings to fit the canvas. It shouldn't stretch the paintings created using the 'paint portrait' and 'paint still-life' options.

This is a great idea! Just one question: when you choose a subject for portrait or still-life will this give you a horizontal option, or will it convert the original, vertical, picture? (hope this makes sense!)

Well, guess I should just try it and see! Thank you for making this. :D

This is such an awesome download! I wonder if anyone can make frames to add to these paintings, like the frames you can download for vertical paintings (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=186784)

Fantastic - just what I was looking for.
I agree with mrsir184, it'd be great to get some frames for these.

Thank you so much! I had many paintings that I wanted to paint, but couldn't because they were wider than they were tall. Thanks to you, I no longer have this problem. THANKIES! =)

When I tried it it just acted like the original vertical painting. No horizontal format...
I did something wrong ?

Hi, would it be possible to update this easel so that you can paint custom paintings with it (available with later EPs)? The idea of painting in landscape is pretty awesome!

Awesome! I was just thinking how great it would be to have landscape-type pictures... and here they are! I am so definitely downloading this... XD
